3 “What counsel you have given to one without wisdom! What helpful insight you have abundantly (c)provided!
3 How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
3 What counsel you provide to the fool! What insight you provide so abundantly!
3 “How you have counseled the one who has no wisdom! And how abundantly you have provided sound wisdom and helpful insight!
10 “He has inscribed a (I)circle on the surface of the watersAt the (J)boundary of light and darkness.
10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
10 He laid out the horizon on the surface of the waters(H)at the boundary between light and darkness.
10 He has delimited a boundary over the surface of the oceans as a limit between light and darkness.
10 “He has inscribed a circular limit (the horizon) on the face of the watersAt the boundary between light and darkness.
14 “Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint (P)a word we hear of Him!But His mighty (Q)thunder, who can understand?”
14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
14 These are but the fringes of His ways;how faint is the word we hear of Him!Who can understand His mighty thunder?
14 Indeed, these are the fringes of his ways, and how faint is the whisper we've heard of it! But who can comprehend the thunder of his might?"
14 “Yet these are just the fringes of His ways [mere samples of His power],The faintest whisper of His voice!Who can contemplate the thunder of His [full] mighty power?”
