The Temptation Of Jesus

¹ Then Jesus was led by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. ² After He had gone without food for forty days and forty nights, He became hungry.

Ezekiel 8:3

I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of the world (Satan) is coming. And he has no claim on Me [no power over Me nor anything that he can use against Me];

For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.
