Psalm 72:4

A Prayer For The King

³ May the mountains bring prosperity to the people
and the hills, righteousness.
⁴ May he vindicate the afflicted among the people,
help the poor,
and crush the oppressor. ⁵ May he continue while the sun endures
and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.

Cause of the Poor

Justice to the Afflicted

Isaiah 11:4

but He will judge the poor righteously
and execute justice for the oppressed of the land.
He will strike the land
with discipline from His mouth,
and He will kill the wicked
with a command from His lips.

How long will you torment me
