of the commandments

יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

’ă·šer

[in anything] which

לֹ֣א

not

､ תֵעָשֶׂ֑ינָה

ṯê·‘ā·śe·nāh;

ought to be done ､

וְעָשָׂ֕ה

wə·‘ā·śāh

and does

מֵאַחַ֖ת

mê·’a·ḥaṯ

– מֵהֵֽנָּה׃

mê·hên·nāh.

of them –

if

הַכֹּהֵ֧ן

hak·kō·hên

הַמָּשִׁ֛יחַ

ham·mā·šî·aḥ

יֶחֱטָ֖א

ye·ḥĕ·ṭā

לְאַשְׁמַ֣ת

lə·’aš·maṯ

bringing guilt on

､ הָעָ֑ם

hā·‘ām;

the people ､

וְהִקְרִ֡יב

wə·hiq·rîḇ

then let him offer

עַ֣ל

‘al

חַטָּאתוֹ֩

ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

､ חָטָ֜א

ḥā·ṭā

he has sinned ､

פַּ֣ר

בֶּן־

ben-

בָּקָ֥ר

bā·qār

of a bull

､ תָּמִ֛ים

tā·mîm

without blemish ､

לַיהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

. לְחַטָּֽאת׃

as a sin offering .

וְהֵבִ֣יא

wə·hê·ḇî

And He shall bring

אֶת־

הַפָּ֗ר

the door

אֹ֥הֶל

of the tabernacle

מוֹעֵ֖ד

וְסָמַ֤ךְ

and lay

יָדוֹ֙

הַחֵ֙לֶב֙

the fat

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

that [is]

עֲלֵיהֶ֔ן

‘ă·lê·hen,

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

’ă·šer

that [is]

עַל־

‘al-

by

､ הַכְּסָלִ֑ים

hak·kə·sā·lîm;

the flanks ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

הַיֹּתֶ֙רֶת֙

hay·yō·ṯe·reṯ

עַל־

‘al-

､ הַכָּבֵ֔ד

hak·kā·ḇêḏ,

the liver ､

עַל־

‘al-

､ הַכְּלָי֖וֹת

hak·kə·lā·yō·wṯ

the kidneys ､

､ יְסִירֶֽנָּה׃

yə·sî·ren·nāh.

he shall remove ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

יוּרַ֔ם

yū·ram,

מִשּׁ֖וֹר

miš·šō·wr

זֶ֣בַח

ze·ḇaḥ

of the sacrifice

– הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים

haš·šə·lā·mîm;

of the peace offering –

וְהִקְטִירָם֙

wə·hiq·ṭî·rām

and shall burn them

הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

עַ֖ל

‘al

on

מִזְבַּ֥ח

miz·baḥ

. הָעֹלָֽה׃

of the burnt offering .

וְאֶת־

But

and

､ בְּשָׂר֔וֹ

עַל־

וְעַל־

and

､ כְּרָעָ֑יו

kə·rā·‘āw;

legs ､

､ וְקִרְבּ֖וֹ

and its entrails ､

､ וּפִרְשֽׁוֹ׃

and offal ､

וְהוֹצִ֣יא

wə·hō·w·ṣî

and he shall carry

אֶת־

’eṯ-

כָּל־

לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֜ה

lam·ma·ḥă·neh

the camp

אֶל־

שֶׁ֣פֶךְ

､ הַדֶּ֔שֶׁן

the ashes ､

and burn

אֹת֛וֹ

it

עַל־

‘al-

עֵצִ֖ים

‘ê·ṣîm

. בָּאֵ֑שׁ

with fire .

עַל־

שֶׁ֥פֶךְ

הַדֶּ֖שֶׁן

. יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃

it shall be burned .

Now if

כָּל־

עֲדַ֤ת

the congregation

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

yiś·rā·’êl

､ יִשְׁגּ֔וּ

yiš·gū,

sins unintentionally ､

וְנֶעְלַ֣ם

wə·ne‘·lam

and is hidden

דָּבָ֔ר

dā·ḇār,

מֵעֵינֵ֖י

mê·‘ê·nê

､ הַקָּהָ֑ל

haq·qā·hāl;

of the assembly ､

וְ֠עָשׂוּ

wə·‘ā·śū

and they have done [something]

אַחַ֨ת

’a·ḥaṯ

מִכָּל־

mik·kāl

of

מִצְוֺ֧ת

miṣ·wōṯ

the commandments

יְהוָ֛ה

Yah·weh

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

[in anything] which

לֹא־

lō-

not

､ תֵעָשֶׂ֖ינָה

ṯê·‘ā·śe·nāh

should be done ､

– וְאָשֵֽׁמוּ׃

wə·’ā·šê·mū.

and are guilty –

וְנֽוֹדְעָה֙

wə·nō·wḏ·‘āh

and when becomes known

הַֽחַטָּ֔את

ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ,

the sin

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

חָטְא֖וּ

ḥā·ṭə·’ū

they have committed

､ עָלֶ֑יהָ

‘ā·le·hā;

upon ､

וְהִקְרִ֨יבוּ

wə·hiq·rî·ḇū

then shall offer

הַקָּהָ֜ל

haq·qā·hāl

פַּ֤ר

par

ben-

-

בָּקָר֙

､ לְחַטָּ֔את

lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ,

for the sin ､

וְהֵבִ֣יאוּ

And he shall do

לַפָּ֔ר

lap·pār,

with the bull

כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

עָשָׂה֙

‘ā·śāh

he did

לְפַ֣ר

lə·p̄ar

with the bull as

､ הַֽחַטָּ֔את

ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ,

a sin offering ､

כֵּ֖ן

יַעֲשֶׂה־

ya·‘ă·śeh-

shall he do

､ לּ֑וֹ

lōw;

with it ､

וְכִפֶּ֧ר

wə·ḵip·per

so shall make atonement

עֲלֵהֶ֛ם

‘ă·lê·hem

､ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן

hak·kō·hên

the priest ､

וְנִסְלַ֥ח

wə·nis·laḥ

and it shall be forgiven

. לָהֶֽם׃

lā·hem.

וְהוֹצִ֣יא

wə·hō·w·ṣî

And he shall carry

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַפָּ֗ר

hap·pār,

the bull

אֶל־

’el-

to

מִחוּץ֙

mi·ḥūṣ

､ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה

lam·ma·ḥă·neh,

the camp ､

וְשָׂרַ֣ף

wə·śā·rap̄

and burn

אֹת֔וֹ

’ō·ṯōw,

it

כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

שָׂרַ֔ף

śā·rap̄,

אֵ֖ת

’êṯ

-

– הַפָּ֣ר

the bull –

הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן

hā·ri·šō·wn;

חַטַּ֥את

[is] a sin offering for

הַקָּהָ֖ל

he has committed

､ בָּ֑הּ

bāh;

in ､

וְהֵבִ֧יא

wə·hê·ḇî

and he shall bring

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ קָרְבָּנ֛וֹ

qā·rə·bā·nōw

as his offering ､

שְׂעִ֥יר

śə·‘îr

､ עִזִּ֖ים

‘iz·zîm

of the goats ､

זָכָ֥ר

zā·ḵār

– תָּמִֽים׃

tā·mîm.

without blemish –

וְסָמַ֤ךְ

wə·sā·maḵ

and he shall lay

at the place

אֲשֶׁר־

of the altar

､ הָעֹלָ֑ה

hā·‘ō·lāh;

of burnt offering ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

דָּמ֣וֹ

אֶל־

of the commandments

יְהוָ֛ה

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

[in anything] which

חַטָּאת֖וֹ

ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

､ חָטָ֑א

ḥā·ṭā;

he has committed ､

וְהֵבִ֨יא

wə·hê·ḇî

then he shall bring

､ קָרְבָּנ֜וֹ

qā·rə·bā·nōw

as his offering ､

שְׂעִירַ֤ת

śə·‘î·raṯ

､ עִזִּים֙

‘iz·zîm

of the goats ､

､ תְּמִימָ֣ה

tə·mî·māh

without blemish ､

､ נְקֵבָ֔ה

nə·qê·ḇāh,

a female ､

עַל־

‘al-

חַטָּאת֖וֹ

ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

. חָטָֽא׃

ḥā·ṭā.

he has committed .

וְסָמַךְ֙

wə·sā·maḵ

And he shall lay

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

יָד֔וֹ

yā·ḏōw,

עַ֖ל

‘al

on

רֹ֣אשׁ

rōš

the head

､ הַֽחַטָּ֑את

ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ;

of the sin offering ､

וְשָׁחַט֙

wə·šā·ḥaṭ

and kill

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַ֣חַטָּ֔את

ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ,

the sin offering

בִּמְק֖וֹם

bim·qō·wm

at the place

. הָעֹלָֽה׃

hā·‘ō·lāh.

of the burnt offering .

וְלָקַ֨ח

wə·lā·qaḥ

הַכֹּהֵ֤ן

hak·kō·hên

מִדָּמָהּ֙

mid·dā·māh

[some] of its blood

､ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ

bə·’eṣ·bā·‘ōw,

with his finger ､

וְנָתַ֕ן

wə·nā·ṯan

and put [it]

עַל־

‘al-

on

קַרְנֹ֖ת

qar·nōṯ

מִזְבַּ֣ח

miz·baḥ

of the altar

､ הָעֹלָ֑ה

hā·‘ō·lāh;

of burnt offering ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

כָּל־

kāl-

all [the remaining]

דָּמָ֣הּ

dā·māh

יִשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ

yiš·pōḵ,

אֶל־

’el-

at

יְס֖וֹד

yə·sō·wḏ

the base

. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

ham·miz·bê·aḥ.

of the altar .

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

And

כָּל־

kāl-

חֶלְבָּ֣הּ

ḥel·bāh

יָסִ֗יר

yā·sîr,

He shall remove

כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

הוּסַ֣ר

hū·sar

חֵלֶב֮

ḥê·leḇ

מֵעַ֣ל

mê·‘al

זֶ֣בַח

ze·ḇaḥ

– הַשְּׁלָמִים֒

haš·šə·lā·mîm

of the peace offering –

וְהִקְטִ֤יר

wə·hiq·ṭîr

and shall burn it

הַכֹּהֵן֙

hak·kō·hên

הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה

ham·miz·bê·ḥāh,

on the altar

לְרֵ֥יחַ

lə·rê·aḥ

נִיחֹ֖חַ

nî·ḥō·aḥ

– לַיהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

to Yahweh –

וְכִפֶּ֥ר

wə·ḵip·per

so shall make atonement

עָלָ֛יו

‘ā·lāw

､ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן

hak·kō·hên

the priest ､

וְנִסְלַ֥ח

wə·nis·laḥ

and it shall be forgiven

as his sin offering ､

נְקֵבָ֥ה

תְמִימָ֖ה

ṯə·mî·māh

without blemish

. יְבִיאֶֽנָּה׃

yə·ḇî·’en·nāh.

he shall bring .

וְסָמַךְ֙

wə·sā·maḵ

And he shall lay

the head

､ הַֽחַטָּ֑את

לְחַטָּ֔את

lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ,

as a sin offering

בִּמְק֕וֹם

at the place

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

יִשְׁחַ֖ט

yiš·ḥaṭ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

[some] of the blood

הַֽחַטָּאת֙

of the sin offering

､ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ

with his finger ､

wə·nā·ṯan

and put [it]

the fat

הַכֶּשֶׂב֮

hak·ke·śeḇ

of the lamb

מִזֶּ֣בַח

miz·ze·ḇaḥ

from the sacrifice

– הַשְּׁלָמִים֒

haš·šə·lā·mîm

of the peace offering –

וְהִקְטִ֨יר

wə·hiq·ṭîr

הַכֹּהֵ֤ן

אֹתָם֙

’ō·ṯām

it

the offerings made by fire

. יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;
