'According to the Law' in the Bible

And those, indeed, from among the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, (though having come out of the loins of Abraham);

If, therefore, He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are those offering the gifts according to the law,

for, when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, taking the blood of the calves and of the goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, he sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

And nearly all things are cleansed, according to the law, with blood; and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
