'All Day Long' in the Bible
When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted awayThrough my groaning all day long.
And my tongue shall declare Your righteousnessAnd Your praise all day long.
All day long he is gracious and lends,And his descendants are a blessing.
I am bent over and greatly bowed down;I go mourning all day long.
Those who seek my life lay snares for me;And those who seek to injure me have threatened destruction,And they devise treachery all day long.
My tears have been my food day and night,While they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”
As a shattering of my bones, my adversaries revile me,While they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”
In God we have boasted all day long,And we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah.
All day long my dishonor is before meAnd my humiliation has overwhelmed me,
But for Your sake we are killed all day long;We are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.
For the choir director. A Maskil of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul and said to him, “David has come to the house of Ahimelech.”Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man?The lovingkindness of God endures all day long.
For the choir director; according to Jonath elem rehokim. A Mikhtam of David, when the Philistines seized him in Gath.Be gracious to me, O God, for man has trampled upon me;Fighting all day long he oppresses me.
My foes have trampled upon me all day long,For they are many who fight proudly against me.
All day long they distort my words; All their thoughts are against me for evil.
My mouth is filled with Your praiseAnd with Your glory all day long.
My mouth shall tell of Your righteousnessAnd of Your salvation all day long; For I do not know the sum of them.
My tongue also will utter Your righteousness all day long; For they are ashamed, for they are humiliated who seek my hurt.
So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him;And let them pray for him continually;Let them bless him all day long.
For I have been stricken all day longAnd chastened every morning.
Arise, O God, and plead Your own cause;Remember how the foolish man reproaches You all day long.
Be gracious to me, O Lord,For to You I cry all day long.
They have surrounded me like water all day long; They have encompassed me altogether.
My enemies have reproached me all day long; Those who deride me have used my name as a curse.
