'For Us' in the Bible

He chooses our inheritance for us,The glory and excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah.

Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people;Pour out your heart before Him.God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Your God has commanded your strength [your power in His service and your resistance to temptation];Show Yourself strong, O God, who acted on our behalf.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master,And as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,So our eyes look to the Lord our God,Until He is gracious and favorable toward us.

Be gracious to us, O Lord, be gracious and favorable toward us,For we are greatly filled with contempt.

The Lord has done great things for us;We are glad!
