'Lifted Up' in the Bible

And they buried Abner in Hebron, - and the king lifted up his voice and wept, at the grave of Abner, and all the people wept.

Now Absolom had fled. And the young man that was watching lifted up his eyes and looked, and lo! much people, coming on the road behind him, on the mountain-side.
