'Says the Lord' in the Bible

The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a message from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the nations, Arise you, and let us rise up against her in battle.

Though you exalt yourself as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, from there will I bring you down, says the LORD.

Shall I not in that day, says the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mountains of Esau?
