What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

Who is like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high, Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

O Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him?
Or the son of man, that You think of him?

Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker:
Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons,
And you shall commit to Me the work of My hands.

In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.




When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

And he who cares for his master will be honored.

but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

“What is man, that he should be pure,
Or he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

'He puts no trust even in His servants; And against His angels He charges error. 'How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before the moth!

"Can a vigorous man be of use to God, Or a wise man be useful to himself? "Is there any pleasure to the Almighty if you are righteous, Or profit if you make your ways perfect? "Is it because of your reverence that He reproves you, That He enters into judgment against you? read more.

"How then can a man be just with God? Or how can he be clean who is born of woman? "If even the moon has no brightness And the stars are not pure in His sight, How much less man, that maggot, And the son of man, that worm!"

What is man that You magnify him,
And that You are concerned about him,







The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head.

He presented another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field;

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near.
