Then Eli answered and said, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant your request that you have asked of him."

And he asked them, "Why are you doing all these things that I am hearing, [namely], your evil dealings with all these people?

Then the people said to Samuel, "Who [is] the one who asked, 'Will Saul reign over us?' Give the men to us that we may kill them."

So then look! [Here is] the king you have chosen, for whom you have asked! Look, Yahweh has placed a king over you!

David left the baggage [he had] with him in the {care} of the baggage keeper, ran to the battle line, and came and {asked how his brothers were doing}.

David replied, "What have I done now? {I merely asked a question}!

Then he also went to Ramah. When he came to the great cistern which [was] in Secu, he asked and said, "Where [are] Samuel and David?" Someone said, "Look [they are] in Naioth in Ramah."

Then David came to [the] two hundred men {who had been too exhausted to follow} David; they had left them behind at the Wadi Besor. They went out to meet David and to meet the people who were with him. David came near with the people and {asked them how they were doing}.
