'Awhile' in the Bible
After he had been there awhile, Abimelech, king of the Philistines, looked out through a window and saw Isaac caressing his wife Rebekah.
At this, Joseph hurried out, deeply moved because of his brother, and looked for a place to weep by himself. He entered his personal quarters, wept there awhile,
Manoah said to the Lord's messenger, "Please stay here awhile, so we can prepare a young goat for you to eat."
And he returned after awhile {to marry her}, and he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion, and there [was] a swarm of wild honey bees in the body of the lion, and honey.

And having sent into Macedonia two of those ministering to him, Timotheus and Erastus, he remained himself awhile in Asia.
