'Consultation' in the Bible
Now Abner had consultation with the elders of Israel, saying, “In times past you were seeking for David to be king over you.
Some Manassites defected to David when he went with the Philistines to fight against Saul. However, they did not help the Philistines because the Philistine rulers sent David away after a discussion. They said, “It will be our heads if he defects to his master Saul.”
Without consultation, plans are frustrated,But with many counselors they succeed.
Prepare plans by consultation,And make war by wise guidance.
And the Pharisees having gone forth, held a consultation against him, how they might destroy him,
