'Cry' in the Bible
And they gave a loud cry, saying, What have we to do with you, you Son of God? Have you come here to give us punishment before the time?
He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
But when he saw the wind he was in fear and, starting to go down, he gave a cry, saying, Help, Lord.
And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed.”
And two blind men seated by the wayside, when they had the news that Jesus was going by, gave a loud cry, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you that this night, before the hour of the cock's cry, you will say three times that you have no knowledge of me.
Then with curses and oaths he said, I have no knowledge of the man. And straight away there came the cry of a cock.
And the word of Jesus came back to Peter, when he said, Before the hour of the cock's cry, you will say three times that you have no knowledge of me. And he went out, weeping bitterly.
And about the ninth hour Jesus gave a loud cry, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why are you turned away from me?
And Jesus gave another loud cry, and gave up his spirit.
Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out [terribly from the depths of his throat],
And the unclean spirit, having torn him, and uttered a cry with a loud voice, came out of him.
Whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, they would fall down before Him and shout, “You are the Son of God!”
Each night and every day among the tombs and in the mountains, he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
But they, when they saw him walking on the sea, took him for a spirit, and gave a loud cry:
Immediately the father of the boy cried out [with a desperate, piercing cry], saying, “I do believe; help [me overcome] my unbelief.”
So with a loud cry he threw the boy into fit after fit, and came out. The boy looked as if he were dead, so that most of them said he was dead;
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Those who went in front and those who were following [Him] were shouting [in joy and praise],“Hosanna (Save, I pray)!Blessed (praised, glorified) is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
So you are to keep watch: because you are not certain when the master of the house is coming, in the evening, or in the middle of the night, or at the cock's cry, or in the morning;
And Jesus said to him, Truly, I say to you that you, today, even this night, before the cock's second cry, will say three times that you have no knowledge of me.
But he said, I have no knowledge of him, or of what you are saying: and he went out into the doorway; and there came the cry of a cock.
And in the same minute, the cock gave a second cry. And it came to Peter's mind how Jesus had said to him, Before the cock's second cry, you will say three times that you have no knowledge of me. And at this thought he was overcome with weeping.
And Pilate said to them, Why, what evil has he done? But their cry was the louder, To the cross!
But Jesus let out a loud cry and breathed His last.
Then she exclaimed with a loud cry:“You are the most blessed of women,and your child will be blessed!
There was a man in the synagogue who was possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud and terrible voice,
How terrible it will be for you who are full now, because you will be hungry! How terrible it will be for you who are laughing now, because you will mourn and cry!
When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said, “Don’t cry.”
Seeing Jesus, he cried out [with a terrible voice from the depths of his throat] and fell down before Him [in dread and terror], and shouted loudly, “What business do we have [in common] with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? and lo, a spirit doth take him, and suddenly he doth cry out, and it teareth him, with foaming, and it hardly departeth from him, bruising him,
And he gave a cry and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may put the end of his finger in water and put it on my tongue, for I am cruelly burning in this flame.
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
And he said, I say to you, Peter, before the cock's second cry today, you will say three times that you have no knowledge of me.
And Peter said, Man, I have no knowledge of these things of which you are talking. And straight away, while he was saying these words, there came the cry of a cock.
And the Lord, turning, gave Peter a look. And the words of the Lord came to Peter's mind, how he had said, This night, before the hour of the cock's cry, you will be false to me three times.
But they [loudly] shouted out all together, saying, “Away with this Man, and release Barabbas to us!”
But Jesus turned to them and said, "Women of Jerusalem, stop crying for me. Instead, cry for yourselves and for your children,
And Jesus gave a loud cry and said, Father, into your hands I give my spirit: and when he had said this, he gave up his spirit.
The Jews who were with her in the house consoling her saw that Mary got up quickly and went out. So they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to cry there.

The kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality with her and lived in luxury with her, will cry and mourn over her when they see the smoke rising from the fire that consumes her.
Frightened by the torture that she experiences, they will stand far away and cry out, "How terrible, how terrible it is for that great city, the powerful city Babylon, because your judgment arrived in a single hour!"
The world's businesses cry and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargo anymore
Every ship's captain, everyone who traveled by ship, sailors, and everyone who made a living from the sea stood far away. When they saw the smoke rising from the fire that consumed her, they began to cry out, "What city was like that great city?"
And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away.
