'Discussions' in the Bible
Then David had discussions with the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds and with every chief.
You will say to them, "This is the nation that wouldn't listen to the voice of the LORD its God and wouldn't accept correction. Truth has perished; it has been eliminated from their discussions.'

Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the pointless discussions and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge.
However, avoid pointless discussions. For people will become more and more ungodly,
Do not have anything to do with foolish and stupid discussions, because you know they breed arguments.
But hold yourself aloof from foolish controversies and pedigrees and discussions and wrangling about the Law, for they are useless and vain.
