'Leftovers' in the Bible
"'If his offering is a votive or freewill sacrifice, it may be eaten on the day he presents his sacrifice, and also the leftovers from it may be eaten on the next day,
but the leftovers from the meat of the sacrifice must be burned up in the fire on the third day.
Then Moses told Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, "Take the leftovers from the grain offering and the offerings made by fire and eat the unleavened bread beside the altar, because it is most holy to the LORD.
When they were full, He told His disciples, “Collect the leftovers so that nothing is wasted.”
