'Towns' in the Bible
But Geshur and Aram took from them Havvoth-jair, with Kenath and its villages, sixty towns in all. All these were the sons (descendants) of Machir, the father of Gilead.
Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susim, Beth-biri, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities until the reign of David.
These were their villages: Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen, and Ashan—five cities—
and all their villages that were around these towns as far as Baal. These were their settlements, and they have their genealogical record.
They lived in Gilead, in Bashan and in its towns, and in all the [surrounding] pasture lands of Sharon, as far as their borders.
Their possessions and settlements were Bethel and its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, and Shechem, and as far as Ayyah with all their towns,
and along the borders of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-shean, Taanach, Megiddo, Dor, with all their towns. In these [places] lived the sons of Joseph the son of Israel (Jacob).
The sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with its towns;
