Many Disciples Desert Jesus

⁶² what if you should see the son of man ascend up where he was before? ⁶³ it is the action of the mind that vivifies, that of the body profits nothing: the words that I have delivered to you, spiritually understood, give life. ⁶⁴ but there are some of you who do not believe. (for Jesus knew from the beginning, who they were that did not believe, and who should betray him.)
