'Listen to Me' in the Bible

“Coastlands, listen to Me in silence,And let the peoples gain new strength;Let them come forward, then let them speak;Let us come together for judgment.

“Listen to Me, O house of Jacob,And all the remnant of the house of Israel,You who have been borne by Me from birthAnd have been carried from the womb;

“Listen to Me, you stubborn-minded,Who are far from righteousness.

“Listen to Me, O Jacob, even Israel whom I called;I am He, I am the first, I am also the last.

Listen to Me, O islands,And pay attention, you peoples from afar.The Lord called Me from the womb;From the body of My mother He named Me.

“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness,Who seek the Lord:Look to the rock from which you were hewnAnd to the quarry from which you were dug.

“Listen to Me, you who know righteousness,A people in whose heart is My law;Do not fear the reproach of man,Nor be dismayed at their revilings.
