(For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they carefully wash their hands, thus observing the traditions of the elders;
“Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”

"All the elders of that city which is nearest to the slain man shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley; and they shall answer and say, 'Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it.

Likewise, whomever the one with the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
