Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

And he gave them into the hand of the nations; And they that hated them ruled over them.

Save us, O Jehovah our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, And to triumph in thy praise.

I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the peoples; And I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

He will judge among the nations, He will fill the places with dead bodies; He will strike through the head in many countries.

He hath showed his people the power of his works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.

Wherefore should the nations say, Where is now their God?

O praise Jehovah, all ye nations; Laud him, all ye peoples.

All nations compassed me about: In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the nations, Jehovah hath done great things for them.

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.

To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishments upon the peoples;
