'Victory' in the Bible
The victory that day was turned to mourning for all the people, for the people heard it said that day, “The king is grieved for his son.”
He arose and struck the Philistines until his hand was weary and clung to the sword, and the Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to strip the slain.
But he took his stand in the midst of the plot, defended it and struck the Philistines; and the Lord brought about a great victory.
Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Aram, was a great man with his master, and highly respected, because by him the Lord had given victory to Aram. The man was also a valiant warrior, but he was a leper.

They took their stand in the midst of the plot and defended it, and struck down the Philistines; and the Lord saved them by a great victory.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
