'Yet' in the Bible
That messenger was still speaking when yet another came and reported: “The Chaldeans formed three bands, made a raid on the camels, and took them away. They struck down the servants with the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”
Should anyone try to speak with youwhen you are exhausted?Yet who can keep from speaking?
Surely this is the joy of his way of life;yet others will sprout from the dust.
He will yet fill your mouth with laughterand your lips with a shout of joy.
“Yet You concealed these thoughts in Your heart;I know that this was Your hidden plan:
Yet I prefer to speak to the Almightyand argue my case before God.

Yet another person dies with a bitter soul,having never tasted prosperity.
Yet He knows the way I have taken;when He has tested me, I will emerge as pure gold.
Yet I am not destroyed by the darkness,by the thick darkness that covers my face. >
From the city, men groan;the mortally wounded cry for help,yet God pays no attention to this crime.
Yet God drags away the mighty by His power;when He rises up, they have no assurance of life.
He wraps up the waters in His clouds,yet the clouds do not burst beneath their weight.
Those who survive him will be buried by the plague,yet their widows will not weep for them.
Yet no one would stretch out his handagainst a ruined manwhen he cries out to him for helpbecause of his distress.
He was also angry at Job’s three friends because they had failed to refute him and yet had condemned him.
I paid close attention to you.Yet no one proved Job wrong;not one of you refuted his arguments.
He will look at men and say,“I have sinned and perverted what was right;yet I did not get what I deserved.
For Job has declared, “I am righteous,yet God has deprived me of justice.
But when God is silent, who can declare Him guilty?When He hides His face, who can see Him?Yet He watches over both individuals and nations,
Yet now you are obsessed with the judgment due the wicked;judgment and justice have seized you.
Yet out of the north He comes, shrouded in a golden glow;awesome majesty surrounds Him.
