'Sit' in the Bible

Better to sit on a corner of the roof, Than with a woman of contentions and a house of company.

When you sit down to dine with a ruler,consider carefully what is before you,

Wisdom is too exalted for a [hardened, arrogant] fool;He does not open his mouth in the gate [where the city’s rulers sit in judgment].
