I called to the Lord in my distress,^(A)
and He answered me.
I cried out for help in the belly of Sheol;^(B)
You heard my voice.^(C)

into the heart of the seas,^(E)

All Your breakers and Your billows swept over me.^(F)

toward Your holy temple.^(I)

the watery depths overcame me;
