'As It is Written' in the Bible

as it is written in Isaiah the prophet, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way.

But he answering said to them, Well did Esaias prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honour me with their lips, but their heart is far away from me.

but I say unto you that Elias also is come, and they have done to him whatever they would, as it is written of him.

The Son of man goes indeed as it is written concerning him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is delivered up; it were good for that man if he had not been born.
