He has bent His bow like an enemy;He has set His right hand like an adversaryAnd slain all that were delightful and pleasing to the eye;In the tent of the Daughter of ZionHe has poured out His wrath like fire.

Shout for joy, O Daughter of Zion!Shout in triumph, O Israel!Rejoice, be in high spirits and glory with all your heart,O Daughter of Jerusalem [in that day]!

Sing for joy and rejoice, O Daughter of Zion; for behold, I am coming, and I will dwell in your midst,” declares the Lord.

“Do not fear, Daughter of Zion; Behold, Your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”
