And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon-Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

And he saith to them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared by my Father.

But I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I did in my Father's name, they testify concerning me.

Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Verily, verily, I say to you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.

If I had not done among them the works which no other man hath done, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen, and hated both me and my Father.

Then said Jesus to Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

But this I confess to thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

(And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers:) even as I received of my Father.
