'O God' in the Bible
Till I went into God's holy place, and saw the end of the evil-doers.
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
{Maschil of Asaph.} O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
Let me give glory to you, O God, my King; and blessing to your name for ever and ever.
Let high praises to God be heard in their throats, while they wield two-edged swords in their hands
Let the Lord be praised. Give praise to God in his holy place: give him praise in the heaven of his power.
