'O God' in the Bible
Paul, bondman of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated to God's glad tidings,
back-biters, hateful to God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Now we know that whatever the things the law says, it speaks to those under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God.
and hesitated not at the promise of God through unbelief; but found strength in faith, giving glory to God;
For if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much rather, having been reconciled, we shall be saved in the power of his life.
For in that he has died, he has died to sin once for all; but in that he lives, he lives to God.
So also ye, reckon yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Neither yield your members instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God as alive from among the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God.
But thanks be to God, that ye were bondmen of sin, but have obeyed from the heart the form of teaching into which ye were instructed.
But now, having got your freedom from sin, and having become bondmen to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end eternal life.
So that, my brethren, ye also have been made dead to the law by the body of the Christ, to be to another, who has been raised up from among the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.
But he who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for saints according to God.
Aye, but thou, O man, who art thou that answerest again to God? Shall the thing formed say to him that has formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Brethren, the delight of my own heart and my supplication which I address to God for them is for salvation.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your intelligent service.
For it is written, I live, saith the Lord, that to me shall bow every knee, and every tongue shall confess to God.
So then each of us shall give an account concerning himself to God.
For he that in this serves the Christ is acceptable to God and approved of men.
I have therefore whereof to boast in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God.
But I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in prayers for me to God;
