'O God' in the Bible
Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the fragrance of his knowledge by us in every place.
For we are unto God a sweet fragrance of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be in our right mind, it is for your cause.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
But thanks be to God, who put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.
Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, who causes through us thanksgiving to God.
For the administration of this service not only supplies the need of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
Now I pray to God that you do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that you should do that which is honest, though we be as failures.
