'Rule Over' in the Bible

And after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you, and another third kingdom of bronze, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

Thus shall he do in the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge and advance its glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
