Dead flies make a perfumer’s oil stink, so a little foolishness is weightier than wisdom and honor.


Like a dog that returns to its vomit
Is a fool who repeats his folly.

This is the way of those who are foolish,
And of those after them who approve their words. Selah.

The mind of the intelligent seeks knowledge,
But the mouth of fools feeds on folly.


And I saw that wisdom excels folly as light excels darkness.



Even those who trust in their wealth And boast in the abundance of their riches? No man can by any means redeem his brother Or give to God a ransom for him-- For the redemption of his soul is costly, And he should cease trying forever-- read more.
That he should live on eternally, That he should not undergo decay. For he sees that even wise men die; The stupid and the senseless alike perish And leave their wealth to others. Their inner thought is that their houses are forever And their dwelling places to all generations; They have called their lands after their own names. But man in his pomp will not endure; He is like the beasts that perish. This is the way of those who are foolish, And of those after them who approve their words. Selah.

The crown of the wise is their riches,
But the folly of fools is foolishness.












"But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

A fool's lips bring strife, And his mouth calls for blows. A fool's mouth is his ruin, And his lips are the snare of his soul.


For in many dreams and in many words there is emptiness. Rather, fear God.

Like a thorn which falls into the hand of a drunkard,
So is a proverb in the mouth of fools.

But with the mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand.

The lips of the wise spread knowledge,
But the hearts of fools are not so.


Like the legs which are useless to the lame,
So is a proverb in the mouth of fools.


“O that you would be completely silent,
And that it would become your wisdom!

"Is there no limit to windy words? Or what plagues you that you answer? "I too could speak like you, If I were in your place. I could compose words against you And shake my head at you.

“Who is this that darkens counsel
By words without knowledge?

Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
Or you will also be like him.

Do not slander a slave to his master,
Or he will curse you and you will be found guilty.

the beginning of his talking is folly and the end of it is wicked madness. Yet the fool multiplies words No man knows what will happen, and who can tell him what will come after him?
