And He made twelve (apostles) that they may be with Him and that He may send them out to preach,

And after six days Jesus takes Peter, and James, and John his brother, and carries them up into an exceedingly high mountain privately.

The apostles return to Jesus, and related unto Him all things, even so many as they did, and so many as they taught. And He said to them, Come ye privately into a desert place, and rest a little while. For many were coming and going, neither had they leisure even to eat. And they came away into a desert place privately in a ship.

And the apostles having returned, expounded unto Him how many things they did. And taking them He departed privately into a desert place, belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

And He began to teach them, that it behooves the Son of man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders, and the chief priests and the scribes, and to be killed, and after three days to rise.

At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Then which one is the greater in the kingdom of the heavens? And Jesus calling a little child to Him, placed it in the midst of them, and said, Truly I say unto you, unless you may be converted, and become as little children, you can not enter into the kingdom of the heavens.read more.
Therefore whosoever shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greater in the kingdom of the heavens;

And when they were alone, and those around Him along with the twelve asked Him the parable. And He said to them, To you it has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but to them who are without, all things are in parables: in order that seeing they may see, and not know; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest they may turn, and their sins may he forgiven unto them.

from the day on which, having given commandment through the Holy Ghost to the apostles whom He had chosen, He was received up.

And calling the twelve, He gave to them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases. And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, Take nothing for the journey, neither staff, nor valise, nor bread, nor silver; nor to have two coats.read more.
And into whatsoever house you may eaten there abide, and go out from thence. And so many as may not receive you, going out from that city, knock off the dust of your feet for a testimony against them. And going out, they continued to go through the villages, everywhere preaching the gospel, and healing.

And Jesus sent out the twelve, commanding them, Go not in the way of the Gentiles, and enter not into a city of the Samaritans. But go ye rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And going, preach, saying, That the kingdom of the heavens is at hand.read more.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely you did receive, freely give. Take not gold, nor silver, nor copper in your girdles; nor valise for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.

And He calls the twelve to Him, and began to send them out two by two; and He gave them authority over unclean spirits. And He commanded them that they should take nothing for the way except staff only; no valise, no bread, no money in the girdle; but having put on your sandals: and put not on two coats.read more.
And He said to them, Into whatsoever house you may enter, there abide until you may go out from thence. And whatsoever place may not receive you nor hear you, going forth thence, shake off the dust which is beneath your feet for a testimony unto them. And having gone out they preached that they must repent; and they cast out many demons; and anointed many sick with oil, and healed them.

And He made twelve (apostles) that they may be with Him and that He may send them out to preach, and to have power to heal diseases, and to cast out the demons.

But you shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost having come upon you, and shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and all Judea, and in Samaria, and into the extremity of the earth.

And we are witnesses in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they even slew, hanging him on the wood.

And Jesus having come spoke to them, saying, All authority is given unto me in heaven and upon earth. Going, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things which I commanded you. And lo, I am with you all the days, unto the end of the age.
