"Keep on asking, and the gift will be given you; keep on seeking, and you will find; keep on knocking, and the door will open to you.

but in your hearts be consecrated to Christ as Lord, and always be ready to make your defense to anyone who asks a reason for the hope you have. But you must do it in gentleness and reverence,

Stop being worried about anything, but always, in prayer and entreaty, and with thanksgiving, keep on making your wants known to God.

Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the reapers are scarce. So pray the Lord of the harvest to send out reapers to His harvest field."

First of all, then, I urge that entreaties, prayers, and thanksgiving be offered for all men,

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may grant you the Spirit to give wisdom and revelation which come through a growing knowledge of Him,

This is why, ever since I heard of it, I have never ceased praying for you and asking God to fill you, through full wisdom and spiritual insight, with a clear knowledge of His will,

But if any one of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask God who generously gives to everyone and never reproaches one with its lack, and it will be given to him.

And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask for anything that is in accordance with His will, He will listen to us. And if we know that He listens to us in whatever we ask Him for, we know that we get from Him the things that we have asked Him for.

And anything you ask for as bearers of my name I will do for you, so that the Father may be glorified through the Son.

But we do not know how it is that he now can see, or who it was that made his eyes to see. Ask him; he is of age; he can speak for himself."

This is why his parents said, "He is of age, ask him."

Then he called one of the servant-boys and asked him what this meant.

As he heard a crowd going by, he asked what it meant.

If they want to find out about something, they should ask their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in church.
