Because that which may be known of God is manifest within them; for God made it manifest to them. For, ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes, even his eternal power and divinity, being perceived from his works, are clearly seen, so that they might be without excuse.
although he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he is approved, he will receive the crown of life, which He promised to them that love him.

But if I do them, though ye believe not me, believe the works; that ye may learn and know that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.
Believe me, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; but if not, believe for the very works sake.
Many other signs did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book. But these have been written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life in his name.
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his will?
And these signs will accompany believers: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.
Ye are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; since ye are manifestly shown to be a letter of Christ by means of our service, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tablets of stone, but on fleshly tablets of the heart.
because the gospel preached by us came not to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; as ye well know what sort of persons we became among you for your sake.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God;
Hereby we know that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
