But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law will he exercise himself, day and night.

The law of the LORD is an undefiled law, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, and giveth wisdom unto simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, and rejoice the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, and giveth light unto the eyes. leave there thine offering before the altar, and go thy way first, and be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

because that by the deeds of the law, shall no flesh be justified in the sight of God. For by the law cometh the knowledge of sin.

not of the deeds of righteousness which we wrought, but of his mercy, he saved us, by the fountain of the new birth, and with the renewing of the holy ghost,

We which are Jews by nature and not sinners of the gentiles, know that a man is not justified by the deeds of the law: but by the faith of Jesus Christ - and therefore we have believed on Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the deeds of the law: because that no flesh shall be justified by the deeds of the law.

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doth the same, I will show you to whom he is like. He is like a man which built a house: and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock. When the waters arose, the flood beat upon that house, and could not move it. For it was grounded upon a rock.

If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love: even as I have kept my father's commandments, and abide in his love.

God forbid. How shall we that are dead, as touching sin, live any longer therein?

If ye be then risen again with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the righthand of God.

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, neither of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep as do others: but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night: and they that be drunken, are drunken in the night.read more.
