"The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and the evil, out of the evil treasure brings forth that which is evil; for out of the abundance of the heart does his mouth speak.

For, though walking in flesh, we are not warring according to the flesh, (for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God for the casting down of strongholds); casting down reasonings, and every high thing lifting itself up against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

Be anxious for nothing; but, in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God: and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; Who, existing originally in the form of God, accounted it not a prize to he equal with God. but emptied Himself, taking a slave's form, coming to be in the likeness of men; and, being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Keep thinking of the things above, not of the things on the earth,

For those who are according to the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither, indeed, can it be;

to the one class a savor of death unto death, and to the other a savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
