but into the second once a year only the chief priest [enters], not without blood, which he offers for his errors and those of the people,
And almost all things, according to the law, are purified with blood, and without the pouring out of blood there is no forgiveness.
For the bodies of those animals whose blood is carried into the sanctuary by the chief priest are burnt without the encampment.

In this is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.
For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the defiled, sanctifies to the purification of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who with an eternal spirit offered himself without fault to God, purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
in whom we have the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,
but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
