Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hid in a field, which a man having found hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith; and that we must through many tribulations enter into the kingdom of God.

And a certain scribe came and said to him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus saith to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking goodly pearls: Who having found one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

And he said to them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in the present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

When once the master of the house is risen up and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and knock at the door saying, Lord, Lord, open to us: He shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are. Then shall ye say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.read more.

And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.read more.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is good for thee, to enter into the kingdom of God having one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire:

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, contentions, emulations, wraths, strifes, divisions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of which I tell you before (as I have also told you in time past) that they who practise such things, shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, or unclean person, or covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord cometh. But ye know this, that if the housholder had known, in what watch the thief would have come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broke open. Therefore be ye also ready: for at an hour ye think not, the Son of man cometh.

But as the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were benore the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark. And knew not, till the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the son of man. They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Watch therefore; for ye know not the day nor the hour.

Let your loins be girt, and your lamps burning, And be like men that wait for their Lord, when he will return from the wedding, that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may open to him immediately. Happy are those servants, whom the Lord, when he cometh, shall find watching; verily I say to you, that he will gird himself, and make them sit down to table, and will come forth and serve them.read more.
And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, happy are those servants. And this ye know, that if the master of the house had known, what hour the thief would have come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broke open. Giving thanks unto the Father, who hath made us meet to partake of the inheritance of the saints in light. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his beloved Son,

Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

And I appoint to you a kingdom, as my Father to me, That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And lifting up his eyes on his disciples, he said, Happy are ye poor: for your's is the kingdom of God.

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them: And happy is he, whosoever shall not be offended at me.

And he answering said to them, Go and tell John the things ye have seen and heard: the blind see; the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed; the deaf hear; the dead are raised; to the poor the gospel is preached.

Then said Jesus to his disciples, Verily I say to you, a rich man shall with difficulty enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go thro' the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

And Jesus looking round said to his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God? And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answering again saith to them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God? It is easier for a camel to go thro' the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

And Jesus seeing that he was very sorrowful, said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God? It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which he hath promised to them that love him?

Go to now, ye rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Happy are ye when men shall hate you, and shall separate you from their company, and shall revile you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy; for behold your reward is great in heaven; for in like manner did their fathers to the prophets.

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore I say to you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Then saith he to his servants, The marriage-feast is prepared, but they who were invited were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and invite whomsoever ye find to the wedding-banquet. So those servants going out into the highways, gathered together all whomsoever they found, both bad and good. And the feast was abundantly supplied with guests.
