My dearly loved Tychicus, a faithful minister and my fellow-servant in the Lord's work, will tell you all about me. While he was still coming down, his slaves met him and told him, "Your boy is going to live." So he asked them at what hour he began to get better, and they said to him, "Yesterday at one o'clock the fever left him." Then the father knew that that was the very hour when Jesus had said to him, "Your son is going to live." So he and his whole household believed in Jesus.

But now, since Timothy has just come back to me from you, and brought me good tidings of your faith and love, and told me how kindly you remembered me and that you are longing to see me as much as I am to see you, this is the very reason, namely, through your faith, brothers, that I have been encouraged about you, in spite of all my distresses and crushing difficulties, for now I am really living, since you are standing firm in the Lord.read more.

Now a man was sick; it was Lazarus who lived in Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. It was the Mary who poured the perfume upon the Lord and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. So the sisters sent this message to Jesus, "Lord, listen! the one you love so well is sick."read more.
When Jesus received the message, He said, "This sickness is not to end in death but is to honor God, that the Son of God through it may be honored." Now Jesus held in loving esteem Martha and her sister and Lazarus. But when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He stayed over for two days in the place where He was.

Then He went all over Galilee, as He continued teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and curing any disease or malady among the people.

the blind are seeing and the crippled are walking, the lepers are being healed and the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised and the poor are having the good news preached to them.

The roll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him, and He unrolled it and found the place where it was written: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has consecrated me to preach the good news to the poor; He has sent me to announce release to captives and recovery of sight to the blind; to send the downtrodden away in liberty and to announce the year of favor from the Lord."

They told the good news in that town, and after winning many disciples there, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,

So the news about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were sick with various diseases, especially those who were suffering with torturing diseases; and he cured them.

But when the people came to believe the good news proclaimed by Philip about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were constantly baptized.

However, they have not all given heed to the good news, for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has put faith in what we told?"
