But first seek his Kingdom and the righteousness that he requires, and then all these things shall be added for you.
For God has placed all things under Christ's feet. (But, when it is said that all things have been placed under Christ, it is plain that God is excepted who placed everything under him.)
And, whatever you say or do, do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus; and through him offer thanksgiving to God the father.

Thou hast placed all things beneath his feet.' This 'placing of everything' under man means that there was nothing which was not placed under him. As yet, however, we do not see everything placed under man.
Then will come the end-when he surrenders the Kingdom to his God and Father, having overthrown all other rule and all other authority and power.
So that your faith should be based, not on the philosophy of man, but on the power of God.
And that is my reason for reminding you to stir into flame that gift of God, which is yours through your ordination at my hands.
But I have spoken to you of these things that, when the time for them comes, you may remember that I told you about them myself.
He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
His answer was: "'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy Heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.'
And God placed 'all things under Christ's feet,' and gave him to the Church as its supreme Head;
That which comes first is not the spiritual, but the human; afterwards comes the spiritual;
But, having been found worthy by God to be entrusted with the Good News, therefore we tell it; with a view to please, not men, but God who proves our hearts.
Why, then, do you now provoke God, by putting on the necks of these disciples a yoke which neither our ancestors nor we were able to bear?
I shall, therefore, always be ready to remind you of all this, even though you know it and are firmly established in the Truth that you now hold.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground against the stratagems of the Devil.
And that, not only in the way we had expected; but first they gave themselves to the Lord, and to us also, in accordance with God's will.
