18 Bible Verses about Reminders

Now I would remind you, brethren, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,

Therefore I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

This is now the second letter that I have written to you, beloved, and in both of them I have aroused your sincere mind by way of reminder;

For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way he took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."read more.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

Therefore I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to stir you up by way of reminder, since I know that the putting aside of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.read more.
And I will see to it that after my departure you will be able at any time to call these things to mind. For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year after year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Therefore consider the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.

This is now the second letter that I have written to you, beloved, and in both of them I have aroused your sincere mind by way of reminder; that you should remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken through your apostles.

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you through prophetic utterance when the council of elders laid their hands on you.

But I have written very boldly to you on some points, so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given me from God,

For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, just as I teach everywhere in every church.

Now I would remind you, brethren, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable and gentle, and to show true humility toward all men.
