but self-seeking people who are disloyal to the truth and responsive only to what is wrong will experience anger and fury,

Do you not know that wrongdoers will not have any share in God's kingdom? Do not let anyone mislead you. This is why God sends upon them a misleading influence, to make them believe what is false, so that all who have refused to believe the truth but have preferred disobedience may be condemned.
