'Chastise' in the Bible

“If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father or his mother, and when they chastise him, he will not even listen to them,

So the elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him,

The revolters have gone deep in depravity,But I will chastise all of them.

When they go, I will spread My net over them;I will bring them down like the birds of the sky.I will chastise them in accordance with the proclamation to their assembly.
