'Flesh' in the Bible

They slice off what is on the right hand but still are hungry,And they eat what is on the left hand but they are not satisfied;Each of them eats the flesh of his own arm.

Now in that day the glory of Jacob will fade,And the fatness of his flesh will become lean.

Now the Egyptians are men and not God,And their horses are flesh and not spirit;So the Lord will stretch out His hand,And he who helps will stumbleAnd he who is helped will fall,And all of them will come to an end together.

Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,And all flesh will see it together;For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

A voice says, “Call out.”Then he answered, “What shall I call out?”All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.

“I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh,And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine;And all flesh will know that I, the Lord, am your SaviorAnd your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

“Is it not to divide your bread with the hungryAnd bring the homeless poor into the house;When you see the naked, to cover him;And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?

Who sit among graves and spend the night in secret places;Who eat swine’s flesh,And the broth of unclean meat is in their pots.

For the Lord will execute judgment by fireAnd by His sword on all flesh,And those slain by the Lord will be many.

“Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go to the gardens,Following one in the center,Who eat swine’s flesh, detestable things and mice,Will come to an end altogether,” declares the Lord.
