'Gave' in the Bible
But the crowds seeing it, were in fear, and glorified God who gave such power to men.
And having called to him his twelve disciples, he gave them power over unclean spirits, so that they should cast them out, and heal every disease and every bodily weakness.
And having commanded the crowds to recline upon the grass, having taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed: and having broken the loaves, he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
and having taken the seven loaves and the fishes, having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples, and the disciples to the crowd.
And when he came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, saying, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his particular ability, and immediately went away out of the country.
for I hungered, and ye gave me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, and nourished thee; or thirsting, and gave thee to drink?
for I hungered, and ye gave me not to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me not to drink;
And as they were eating, Jesus, having taken the bread and blessed, broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
And having taken the cup and given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it.
and they gave them for the field of the potter, according as the Lord commanded me.
they gave to him to drink vinegar mingled with gall; and having tasted it, he would not drink.
And immediately one of them running and getting a sponge, having filled it with vinegar and fixed it on a reed, gave him to drink.
And Jesus, having again cried with a loud voice, gave up the ghost.

and they say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority, that thou shouldest do these things?
And as they were eating, Jesus, having taken bread, when he had blessed, broke it, and gave it to them, and said, Take this: this is my body.
And having taken the cup, when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank out of it.
And one, running and filling a sponge with vinegar, fixed it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone, let us see if Elias comes to take him down.
But the time was fulfilled for Elizabeth that she should bring forth, and she gave birth to a son.
and she coming up the same hour gave praise to the Lord, and spoke of him to all those who waited for redemption in Jerusalem.
