The law from Your mouth is better to meThan thousands of gold and silver pieces.

Let Your compassion come to me that I may live,For Your law is my delight.

The arrogant (godless) have dug pits for me,Men who do not conform to Your law.

If Your law had not been my delight,Then I would have perished in my time of trouble.

My life is continually in my hand,Yet I do not forget Your law.
