"This is the covenant that I will establish with them after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws on their hearts and I will inscribe them on their minds,"
For we know the one who said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people."
"For the Lord disciplines the one he loves and chastises every son he accepts."
Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, for without it no one will see the Lord.
So we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ,
