'Stands' in the Bible
"At Bethlehem in Judaea," they replied; "for so it stands written in the words of the Prophet,

The angel answered him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and tell you this good news.
and said to them, "Thus it stands written that the Christ would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day,
“I baptize with water,” John answered them. “Someone stands among you, but you don’t know Him.
